自家空调坏了，请教有什么选择

七年的空调，5 ton, 外机有块有很多电容的板，换一下需要七千。我没见过世面，大吃一惊，七千都能换个整机了，结果人家说这是Carrier最高端的产品线，variable speed, 声音轻, 省电。

我去查了一下，variable speed底下是2stage, 然后才是single stage. 省电划不划算的我没算过，但是这台机的内机在attic比较靠近孩子的卧室的位置，安静还是有用的。所以variable speed和2 stage/ single stage比真的安静很多吗？如果换整个外机可行吗？
