The video posted online shows a Chicago teen being kicked, punched and dragged by a group of males.
Police say the beating took place Sunday in the Bridgeport neighborhood near an elementary school in the 2800 block of South Princeton.
The teen's shoes and wallet were stolen.
He was treated for cuts and bruises to his face and body at Mercy Hospital and is now recovering at home.
The video has sparked outrage online, prompting some people who have seen the video to identify the suspected attackers.
