一名不守规矩的乘客暴力殴打这辆公交车的司机的头部，并用刀指着他。但这名司机随后奋力反抗，虽受了伤，但最终制服了这名袭击者。
警方表示，事发时，这辆M15公交车正行驶在曼哈顿下城，车上的乘客、43岁的罗申·伊格尔(Rashon Eagle)猛地朝司机的头部打了一拳，并用刀指着他。
58岁的司机被袭击后非常沉着，奋力反击，与嫌犯展开搏斗，并最终设法夺下了袭击者手中的刀，制服了他。
警方称，涉事的伊格尔目前面临包括“袭击和威胁”在内的多项指控。
而公交车司机已被送往表维医院救治，据悉他脸上有几处瘀伤，双眼也有抓痕，但警方预计他并无大碍。
