by tall, dark shadows
of disguised giants
made of sodden newspaper

alone with a good book
in which trees blossom
again, the dead wander
in sunlit meadow

finding you gone
further into my dream
only your scent lingers

"happy to do sth." is a common usgae, so to speak ...so, i play with the words..."i am happy to have the ability to feel the sorrow of the world"...
on the other hand, one cannot be "sad" if one's "happy," though i know what you mean ... it is a linguistic problem ...
