CW Beam:    In the Ascending Aorta
Normal Flow:    Systolic
Abnormal Findings:
  1. Increased systolic flow velocity and spectral broadening due to aortic or subaortic stenosis.
  2. Retrograde diastolic flow due to aortic insufficiency.

CW Beam: In the Descending Aorta
Normal Flow: Systolic
Abnormal Finding: Increased systolic flow velocity and spectral broadening due to coarctation of the  aorta.
