Gosh, you are so slack. Haaaa! Hey, I am only kidding! Actually I love the style of western party food, not that I love their taste ( I love quite a few of them though, don't get me wrong, not all I have to say), but they do save women from kitchen chaos. And just for this point I'll give western party food a thumbs-up! Yippe!

for the child, I have bought a lot of sweeties and a big cake. I put different sweeties in seperate bowls, and put them all in the middle of the table.
for my husband, I bought a lot of cold food, like sandwishes, bakeries,cheese, meat, fruit, 7 kinds of cakes (all are big). In the evening, grilled meat and salad. We had a big table only for these food. It was like a self service. So actually I have not cooked a lot by myself, but people like it very much.
For me, this is the most simple way, and gery supports me to do it in a simple way without a lot of work.

she speaks quite well chinese.I begin to speak chinese to her since she was born, so actually she has first learnt chinese,then started German. She understands english as well becaue I speak english with my husband.
so 3 languages at once, she has no problem to handle. It is a task she is used and has to accept since her birth.

everybody has a valley, there was quite a long period, I always think death is a release, to be closer with the ones in heaven whom we had so much love with, still very close in heart, like the choice of Echo....
try to cheer up, for the family, for the kid...
i do encourage myself every moment, trying to make life colourful by our own hands, shape up with our own good mood
