Canadians who pulled up to gas pumps for a fill-up yesterday were in for a nasty shock. Because of hurricane Katrina, prices had jumped as much as 20 cents a litre, reaching $1.20 and more in some cities. That means economic pain for individuals and businesses, but it might be good for us all in the end.
