星星，你說什麽

 

輕飄飄的夜幕 

從樹梢上降落
涼絲絲的晚風  

屋後花園吹過 

彎彎的月牙兒 
載著小白兔和嫦娥
搖啊搖啊象小船
搖過銀色的天河

滿天滿天的星斗 
象挂在天空的焰火 
閃呀閃呀閃的 
對著我說什麽   

星星呀，星星 

你是不是在问我：  

夏令營的日子 

過得快不快樂？
 

星星呀星星

你是不是對我說：  

夏天就快過去
別忘暑假的功課？

我說呀，星星
時光哪讓它蹉跎
平時不勤澆水

園裏怎開花朵？
明天播種的園地
今日就得開拓

我要學好數理
還要把華語掌握
少時加倍努力 
長大看天空寬闊

我要學你那樣
做明亮的星星一顆 
让我金色的童年 
在夏夜裏閃爍閃爍

 

 

Hello there, my Little Star

Night has fallen
I’m alone, wondering in the garden
And there flickers a breeze
Swaying the leaves.

Look, the little boat up there 

With White Rabbit and the Goddess

No. That’s the crescent faraway

Drifting across the Milky Way. 

Lots of little stars, many a million
In darkness, a glowing flame
Twinkle twinkle you Little Star

Greeting me, like a friend, from afar

Hey. My little friend Little Star

Want to talk to me, just ask
Summer holiday has been good

I’ve enjoyed it every minute.

Thanks for your good advice 
 

And the friendship given to me

Vacation will soon be gone

Ready, I’m now for the new term.

I say, Little Star, my little mate

Time is so precious everyday

Unless there comes the rain

Soon flowers will wither away

See, harvests of tomorrow

Comes only from today’s labour
 

So I’ll work hard on sciences

And put more efforts on languages

Studying hard when I’m young

The door for the future will be wide open 
 

I hope to be like you then

A little star among a million
Let my childhood fly high
Shining like a little star, in the summer night.
