Show-off time:

My daughter won "state student historians of the year 2005"

She is among 14 high school kids in the state to win. 3 kids are from her school. Her article about 70s teenager dress is published in a state history journal.

It is a surprise to me since she is still struggling with one of her classes in school. I guess we, parents, should always look our kids' shining spots!
