why would north korea deserve any respect? starve their people to death and get nuclear weapon, of course it worth the effort for kim himself, but what about the whole population? I don't think a bad attitude begger deserves any respect and can have any confidence. It is too bad that no one really cares about the north korea people.
America used to comdemn India for the same reason, but lateron made some good deals with them on nuclear technology...
I do not think it's necessarily bad if North Korea really has the capability of atomic bomb and missles (to Japan)...
they want confidence and respect, American should respect them and make new relation, and draw North Korea into the outside world...
