Nuclear Power Facility Planned for Yangtze River

China thinks nuclear power is the clean and reasonable alternative to the massive amounts of coal it burns as well as depending on oil from overseas.

If the State Development and Reform Commission gives its approval, the China Guangdong Nuclear Power holding co. will put four nuclear power units with a total install capacity of 4 million KW on the famed Yangtze River.
