speeding ticket in CA. HELP PLEASE!!

I got a speeding ticket in CA when driving a rental car. This car was rented under my co-worker's name and I was put as a driver. We bought both the liability and collision insurance, so there was no usage of our personal insurance to cover the rental car. My driver license is issued by NJ. If you happen to have handled the same situation or have any suggestions, would you please let me know the following information?

1. Will the CA DMV report the points to NJ DMV? Or they are using the same system; my points will automatically be seen by NJ DMV?

2. Can my personal insurance company know I get points in CA? My personal insurance company is in NJ and I will renew my insurance soon.

3. How can I handle my ticket since definitely I cannot be on-site on the court date?
