I am male, 20+ and I got radioactive treatment a year ago for thyroid. Thryoid disease is cured. Ironically I am now more concerned about cancer/tumor formation in the future and its effect on the siblings. Just wish cancer could be cured in the near future by some new techniques like gene therepy. Is there any hope that cancer could be controlled at least like diabetes in the near future? Many thanks.
