由魏森伯格弹奏，卡拉扬指挥的《拉赫马尼纳夫第二钢协》

【介绍综合ZT】Alexis Weissenberg 魏森伯格(1929- )法藉保加利亚钢琴家,保加利亚作曲家弗拉季格罗夫的弟子,也曾跟Schnabel大师一阵子。1945年流亡到以色列,1946年考进朱利亚德音乐学校,从师Olga Sarmonoff学琴. Sarmonoff是当时最出色的女钢琴家，也是她发现了后来成名的指挥家Stokowski。  
Weissenberg在1947年参加列文特里特国际比赛获奖后多次举行协奏曲音乐会.1956年起为提高修养与技艺,息影乐坛10年之久,1966年复出在巴黎举行独奏会获巨大成功,卡拉扬因此与其合作录制一系列协奏曲,其演奏风格是宽阔幅度与精湛技巧的结合.魏森伯格的演奏曲目广泛,从巴赫到巴托克的作品无所不包,但最出色的还是与卡拉扬和柏林爱乐乐团合作的协奏曲. 卡拉扬称他为当代最伟大的钢琴家之一。

拉赫马尼纳夫的创作最特别的地方就在於流露出强烈的追逝感，那是对过往旧时代的伤感，而也正是这种伤感，让他个的几首钢琴协奏曲，特别能够在现代爱乐者心中找到共鸣。这种失去时代感的作品，在脱离了时代意识型态之後，虽然大受欢迎，但当他在世时，却明显的让他被贬为较次等的作曲家。幸好这种歧视如今已经不再了。第二号协奏曲则是他在因为第一号交响曲创作失利後，陷入严重沮丧情绪，接受了心理治疗後重新出发的作品，此曲日後也成为他五首钢琴协奏作品中，最受到欢迎的一阙，许多电影和配乐都采用了此曲的片段.

Stokowski's father was polish, his mother was irish.
Weissenberg's a great pianist, this performance provides ample evidence to support that.

Olga Sarmonoff和Leopold Stokowski都不是真名，都是为了在美国自我炒作（后者也为了掩饰其爱尔兰血统）改的斯拉夫名字，不过他们确实很有才！
Karajan赞Weissenberg“伟大”是因为后者比别的钢琴家都“听话”，呵呵~
