why life is so boring

I always asking myself, why my life is so boring? Is it because of my personality or because I am in usa? 
My life is pretty simple, that is acctually what I wanted. I am a simple person, I can only focus on one thing in one time. So, my work is the only thing I care. Normally I feel good when I am busy in work. But, when I have no work to do, I found myself nowhere to go. Even when I want to go shopping, nobody to accompany. That is so pathetic.
