good article. I took experience and hard work to be a leader. Maybe some people get there by shortcuts. I respect those good leaders who have the high integrity, good vision and strong political skills. However I do not if I will enjoy to live a life that way. :-) It is kind too rigid / stiff for me. My manager thought I was just a tech guy / book worm --- better to do research project or work than lead a team.... hehe. yeah, I hate to repeat same point over and over again.

leader 不是每人都能当的,需天生的智商和后天的情商相互配合,现实世界也需要leader,manager and worker.
父母如能发掘孩子的天性,强化孩子的天分,建立起自信,孩子有能力有素质上哈佛等名校当然好,没有这能力也无需勉强.进好学校是成功的起点,不是终点.成功定义不是单一的,见仁见智.

That's great!!! To push them in a leadership arena will force them to communicate with others they may like or dislike, be responsible for their actions and teamworks.
Most laozhong like the leader's position but can't lead or don't know how to lead.
