The whole concept of people in China/>/> being awake when we are
asleep and vise versa is something that both Olivia and Evan
understood from a very young age.  We would always talk about
the sun setting on our horizon and going to see
外公
(grandfather
on mother’s side) and
外婆
(grandmother on mother’s side).

Recently Daddy was driving with Olivia to the local convenience
store "Wawa” to pick up some milk and she asked when Wawa would
be closed.  Daddy told her that they never close, they're open
24 hours a day so that people who work at night can go there in
case they need anything.

"Do you know that there are people who actually sleep during
the day and then work at night?” Daddy was trying to make a
point to let her know that not everyone works during the day
and sleeps at night like most of us do.

"That's like people in China/>/>!" she replied, not missing a beat.
