很感人的故事,以前只知道这幅画;不知背景故事,忍不住多看几遍。可见犹太人是很神的;真是天意啊!

Thanks for telling me this touching story. So everlasting love exists indeed in the world.
People tell stories in different ways. Writers use words, musicians music and songs, painters paintings. Every piece of art works expresses something. The story you posted here was related to Piccaso's painting. I believe that there must be another story behind it.
Thank you.

Hello, Melly. Thank you for visiting my just-opened cyber home ---- you probably the very first guest here! ; ))) I feel honored to have your comments of grace.
Same here, I do have a big heart for art works, but not a delicate mind to appreciate them. But sometimes I feel content to just enjoy that visual pleasure, instead of going deeper into them deciphering “the meaning” behind. Maybe this is where it separates a professional and a layman. : ))
There actually is a touching love story associated with the painting posted here, #4, Garçon à la pipe by Pablo Picasso. It is interesting to read it, though there is no way to either verify or falsify the truth of it. Here it goes.
I know little about painting. However, the compositions from Van Gogh and Renoir are visually enjoyable. I hardly understand most of Piccaso's works though three of his paintings you presented here are seemingly exceptions. :-)
