My husband is no handyman but he is willing and daring to tackle various home improvement projects in order to save a few bucks, (under my good training ) so I can splurge on my clothes and jewelries. He works as a brick-layer, plumber, carpenter, painter, gardener, auto technician etc., in addition to his main job as our sole bread-winner. He works well as individual and is a perfectionist, so I know all work is going to be done professionally, in spite of lacking assistance and my supervision.:=)
First picture; our patio. He used his one summer break made this brick patio which saved use about 3000 dollars, of cause professionally done. After the patio, I told him I need a planter-bench on the patio under the big tree to admire and enjoy his beautiful work. So he set to work and made me one from scratch as my Christmas present that year, of which you can see in the picture on the front view. He also planted two Gardenia for me. This planter-bench is my favorite spot to rest in the back-yard in a hot Summer day.
Second picture; he is painting the fence. We have a pretty long fence and it desperate needs a fresh coat of new paint. He is determined to do himself, I keep my finger crossed to see that he can finish before his school starts. He once told me that if we don’t have a two-story house, he wanted to paint the whole house by himself. Thank God we do, he doesn’t realize that he bites off much more than he can chew.
Third picture; he ordered a spoiler for his be-loved sport car on-line and put it on himself. He was very proud of it and I was amazed how well it had been done, I only wish I could drive it.
