Army is a kindergartener now. The school is over at 3:30pm. So, I sent Amy to an after school program. The after school program runs from 3:30-600pm. The tuition is $170 per month. With the after school program, I do not need to rush too much to get her. I have about 30 minutes more than her daycare which ends at 5:30pm.
Each morning, I send Amy to her school by car, then, I park my car nearby her school. After I send Amy to school, I take a bus to work. I take the same bus after work and pick up Amy at her school.
When whether is good, the after school children play in the school play ground. Amy enjoys playing in play ground from very early age. She likes to meet friends in play ground. If there are old friends, she play with them. If there are not old friends, she make some new friends. She likes to make friends with older kids.
In the first day of her school, she made a lot of friends in the after school program. When I went there to pick up her, several of her new friends came to me and talked about Amy. They are in 3 or 4 th grade. Three to four years older than Amy. They told me that they want to go to Amy's birthday party although Amy's birthday party is still several months ahead.
It was about 5:30pm when I got to the after school program. I talked with the after school teacher for a while, then I signed Amy out. I asked Amy to go home. However, she refused to go. She played in the playgound untill all kids went home. At this time, Army was tired. She asked me to carry her into the car and I drove home.
Now, everything is becoming a route. I feel I have more time to spend in my work. Finally, Amy is a school girl. I feel proud of her. I am enjoying the fruit.
