one of the other good part about shanghai is that

you can drink til you pass out in restaurants without worrying about driving home. public transportation are always there for cheap ones like iCute, taxi will be waiting outside big restaurants for people like me :-)

in usa, it will cost you arms and legs to take taxi home.
