choco late

i have
in my drawer
a box of chocolate
i remember
it was a gift
i do not eat much
every once in a while
a piece from it

people say
life is like
a box of chocolate
you never know
what is the next
they would be right
if only i could tell
the taste of it

but now
not much left
in the box of chocolate
so i know
what is the next
each time when i eat
i m one piece closer
to its end
