The World

River show me where you hide the fishes
Moon sing me to sleep at night
Hope makes a dream with stars
Love travels very far
Anger sometimes destroys the peace
War acts as never ending courage
Staplers bite with never ending teeth
Sky please don’t drop the clouds
Knees bend me so I can smell the flowers
Spoons sit as they wait for the soup course
Refrigerators hum to the beat of the kitchen
Memories bring me back to the past
Clock sleeps as the time ticks away
Trucks groan as the engine starts
Snow makes me a snowman that lasts the winter away
Tables run as the moving van rumbles
Computers buzz as a bright light blooms on their screens
Newspapers chatter as they stroll down the articles.
