I used to live in an apartment called \'Ridgeway\'.It is outside of Highway 435 and about 30 minutes to downtown and 15 minutes to GermanTown and Colliville. The rent is about $650 for 2 bedrooms and 2 bath (about 3 years ago). I know another aparment called Countryside or Country something, which is located on Germantown parkway and about $850 for 2 bedroom. There is no underground parking and you do need pay additional fee for covered parking. Otherwise, just park outside of your building.

I don\'t think there is 82% blacks in Memphis. I notice about 65% at the time when I lived there. If u don\'t have kids, it is not a big deal.
And you will find people are nicer in south than those in North.
