故事梗概：
乾隆青少年时代在上书房读书的一段故事。乾隆虽然很早就被朝野上下，包括雍正本人视为未来帝位的不二人选。但是，在他的成长过程中，也经历了很多的挫折，磨难和痛苦。故事开始，雍正自觉身体虚弱。所以，他组织了一个策论。四阿哥弘历坦诚直言，把自己在上书房的所学所知道，全部表述了出来，这种坦诚的态度，反而触怒了皇帝……
