妈妈上周四（2007.1.17) 做了唐筛的验血。 医生说， 有问题的话会在一周内通知妈妈的。



所以，今天早晨当电话响起时， 妈妈立刻从睡眠中惊醒过来， 心脏一阵狂跳， 怕怕呀！ 直到看到电话号码是你爸爸的， 才缓过来。 唉， 要知道你爸爸从来没这么早给我打过电话， 怎么偏偏今天这么殷勤呢？ 害妈妈虚惊一场！

中午收到医院来信，说“You will be pleased to hear that your recent maternal serum screening blood sample has shown that your baby is not at high risk for Down's syndrome pr fpr spina bifia” ^_^， 一颗悬着的心终于可以放下。



因为信上并没有写确切的值， 而妈妈又很好奇， 于是根据说明上的联络方式， 打电话给医院，了解珠珠你的‘precise risk of  Down's syndrome’。

医生告诉妈妈你的概率是：1：9742！！！！



妈妈上网查了资料，



25 years old: one in 1,400

30 years old: one in 800

35 years old: one in 380

38 years old: one in 190

40 years old: one in 110

45 years old: one in 30

医生还说，珠珠你每项测试都很健康哦！！
