Dear Mr. Harper:
Recently the Tibet Riot grabs my eyes. If you don't mind, I'd like to give you some videos on YouTube.

I don't mind their protesting. I just hope it's in a peaceful way. Unfortunately, they were offending and destroying. They don't destroy the World Trade Center, but they destroy the streets, stores and vehicles. The date is on the anniversary of the 1959 'uprising', when Dalai Lama went to exile. Dalai says he doesn't have power to stop them, but I think he has the power to start it. Last year, Mr. Bush granted Dalai Lama a medal, German prime minister Anglela Merkel interviewed him, and so did you. Can you imagine that somebody break into your home and destroy, while somebody else grants him a medal or interviews him to say you are good?
I believe everybody has right to express themselves. Some people want Tibet independent, but others don't. If we supported Tibet independence, those who would like it would stay, but others would have to leave. Would you think India-Pakistan issue will come to China?
I'm a Canadian citizen, but my parents are still in China. They have a happy life there. I really don't want them to suffer out of any man-made issues like that.
If you have a contact with Dalai Lama, could you please talk to him? As far as I know, he can elect his Congress representative and submit an act in the Congress. This way the act will be discussed by the representatives who are selected by the majority. If the act passes through, then we know the majority people agree on it and they can be independent. I think this approach is consistent with our value. What do you think?
Thanks a lot in advance for reading my email.
Best regards,
Longsky
