看了你这两篇文章后，我想你的女儿还是很幸运的。有多少新移民因为语言不通而耽误或者不能得到该有的治疗（无论什么病）。

如果在美国，三岁之前的孩子你都可以联系“Early Intervention program"，他们属于公共教育系统，他们会给孩子做全面评估，看他是哪方面需要帮助。语言发育迟缓越早效果越好，你如果担心的话，要尽快联系！我们这里三岁以后就不属EI管了，是IU管，（Intermediate Unit)三岁的评估师IU给做，三岁前是EI给做。你最好再去详细问问。
另外，你也可以找家庭医生，让他推荐专科医生给孩子诊断。

Thank you for the good post. I am very concern about my son's speech ability. I will make some calls tomorrow. Unfortunately, our county only provide EI test at age 3. He is 27 months now and his language skill is lag behind.
