Unhook

1. Hazard lights on, headlights on;
2. "My tractor and trailer level and secured."
3. "The surface under my landing gear is level and firm."
4. Roll the landing gear down the ground, Secure the handle.
5. Pull out the fifth wheel handle;
6. Go under the trailer to check the jaws, make sure it open and say:" my jaws is open".
7. Go into the cab and pull tractor slowly forward till the fifth wheel off the trailer plate, get out of the cab.
8. Look at the kingpin and say: " my kingpin is totally off the fifth wheel, and my trailer is supported by the ground and landing gear."
9. Uncouple the air connectors and electrical connector, secure them under the elastic belt on the catwalk.
10. Pull the tractor 15 feet forward and get out of the cab. Be ready for hooking.
