Market View Update ( 9/25/08)

         盘后发生了很多情况，WaMu 成为美国历史上最大的破产银行，WM 的财产以跳楼价卖给了 JPMogen 。 700B 救市计划搁浅。RIMM ER missed, 盘后跳水。Future 飞流直下三千尺。

Credit Market 仍然冻结着， Bond Spread 仍然保持着近 300 个基本点。达到这样的高度，在历史上只有两次， 一次是 10/19/1987 黑色星期一大崩盘。另一次就是上周四在 700B 救市计划的消息出来之前。

今天收盘 3 Months Treasury yield 0.75%, ( 因为是政府短期债卷，被认为是 risk free.) 3 Months Libor Rate 3.77% ( 银行之间互相借款的利息。）通常用这两个利率差来衡量 Credit Market 的流通性。利率差越小，流通性越好。现在这两个的利率差还保持着 300+ base points ( (3.77-0.75)x 100 =302 base points) 通常应该在 100 base points 以下。这显示 Credit Market Crisis 没有缓解。 信用成本很高，Credit Market still frozen. 不能开展正常的商业活动。这是非常危险的，处在崩溃的边缘。如果 700B 在周末仍然没有结论，我们是否又会看到“黑色星期一”？ 不过，最危险的时候，也是最临近转折点的时候。相信国会有足够的智慧解决问题，避免历史悲剧的重演。

在这个特殊时期，不要惊慌。要以不变，应万变。远离股市，持款观望，以逸待劳，静候佳音。

FDIC Chairman Sheila Bair told reporters in a conference call:

"For all depositors and other customers of Washington Mutual Bank, this is simply a combination of two banks," Bair said in a statement. "For bank customers, it will be a seamless transition. There will be no interruption in services and bank customers should expect business as usual come Friday morning."

Only WM stock  be wipe out.
