Expecting that Hurricane Gustav's hitting, our town issued mandatary evaculation. Many people evaculated. The city was almost empty. Schools closed for a couple of days. I watched closely the path of the hurricane and were ready to leave, however, I didn't. Well, not even rainning here. That was last week, labor day weekend.

Now, Ike is coming this way. I hope this time we will be lucky again.

There years ago, because of Rita, my son spent his 9 year birthday on our way of evacuation, I hope not this time again...
