Sorry TexasChickenlittle, I am late. I have been busy at work. At the same time busy at home to prepare our Christmas stuff. Here are my recipes for blackberry Jam and blueberry jam. You can buy the pectin in any grocery store. It is about $2 a pack.

1) Blackberry jam:
6 pint blackberries (~5 and 3/4cup crushed berries)
1/4 cup lemon juice
7 cup of sugar (books called 8 cups of sugar)
1 pack fruit pectin
Prepare Steps:
a) Crush berries in a heavy sauce pot one layer at time and bring it to boil.
b) Add lemon juice.
c) Add 1 pack fruit pectin and mix well. Bring the mixture to full rolling boil.
d) Stir in Sugar and return to full rolling boil on high heat. Stir constantly.
c) Ladle quickly into prepared jars
d) Adjust two pieces lid and process jars in boiling water per canning directions

这样储藏就不用冷冻了。
