I believe the Bruschetta is the same family of Crostini. It is toasted bread with delicious toppings. Often, people love them as appetizers or tapas in Spain. See pictures below.

Good Bruschetta need to have good bread to start with. Then the toppings play the second role. I made this appetizer for our New Year's Eve dinner. In order to do that, I made
French Baguettes the day before.
好吃的Bruschetta 要从好吃,新鲜的面包开始。上面的填料是第二。新年除夕我做了这道开胃餐。为了做它,我前一天做了法国棍子面包。
Recipe:(配方)
6 big slices of French Baguette
2 Tsp + 1 tsp olive oil
1 tsp Italian herbs (dry or fresh)
1 medium tomato seeded
1/3 cup chopped cucumber
1/3 cup blue cheese
Sea salt and fresh grounded peppers
Step 1: Mix 2 Tsp olive oil with Italian herbs together. Season it with sea salt and peppers.
Step 2: Brush the mixture on each bread for both side. See picture below.
第一步: 将2大勺橄榄油和意大利香料混合好,加海盐和胡椒粉调味。
第二步: 切好的面包片两面刷上橄榄油混合料。 看下图。
Step 3: Toast the bread under the broiler in the oven for 1 minute. Turn over toast another side for another minute until golden brown on both side.
Step 4: Mix chopped tomato, cucumber and blue cheese in a bowl, add 1 tsp olive oil. Season it with sea salt and pepper.
Step 5: Put the topping on each slice of bread and serve.
第三步:烤箱中开上火烤1分钟,翻过来再烤1分钟。注意要烤到金黄,不要烤焦了。
第四步: 将切碎的西红柿,黄瓜,芝士混合好,加海盐和胡椒粉调好味道。尽量空掉汁,加1小勺橄榄油,混合好待用。
第五步: 把填料放在面包片上就可以上菜了。
