Leaving las vegas

Leaving las vegas is a movie describing the life of two desperated people, the alcoholic man (acted by Nicolas Cage) and a prostitute. The whole movie is gloomy. Your heart will be twitched by the unerasable pain of this man's mind in contrast to the tolerance of this woman to all kinds of sufferings . In the end, the ever-upper-class man drank to death. And this prostitute woman was recalling the happy moments with him.

And the movie seems criticizing "normal" people's mean attitude towards people with problems. Normal people isolate these skew-ups, trying to keep them away from their life, pretty much like throwing away garbage, which make skew-ups more desperated.

This movie brings up an ethic question: where to draw the line of responsibility or how much burden you can bear when you love.
