This blog is not only intended to be a Chinese-only platform but also to cross the frontier and bridge Chinese and English together, or bilingual, as distinguished from others in the same nature.

Globalization brings about the hot wave of English learning. For anyone who likes to deepen English as a second language intelligently or go global for whatever reasons, here is your forum to getting attracted and therefore connected.

You can do whatever you want: either way, tough or gentle, to me or to the community. No problem!

I regard all your active involvement in my blog as “tough lover”。

Nowadays in China, it's interesting to see that you don't get popular because you are a “pretty girl”, but because you are a “bad boy”.

Do you know what this is supposed to mean?

The newly-published 《Unhappy China》 is getting so popular, as if it were driven by the fact that unhappy readers have decisively made it the most controversial issue through directing a media barrage against the book. The action on the contrary causes backfire and turns against conventional wisdom. Consequently, the public unconsciously helps the book to be the bestseller.

Undoubtedly, the very idea of the writers and marketing strategists is so indeed that they are guys, super smart!

I like the book in terms of its sharp views, style and expressions. However, candidly, I simply don't enjoy their tarnishing of others by name. It's too much and too out of line.

So, don’t be surprised when you see Chinese writing showing up at one time, while simultaneously, an English one pops up somewhere else.

To improve is to aim for high.

You are encouraged to join me for the hot discussions on global strategy- and business-focused topics from a creative, intelligent and international perspective.

Welcome on board!

"Tough Love" is popular slang in venture world. There is no better way to translate it nicely whatsoever, as far as my experience goes.

That is why I pass over to you wiser guys.

VC people are highly tough with and critical of entrepreneurs and often push them to the corner during the pitch or deal making process, while simultaneously they hold high regard for them.

The point is "huge risk" involved in making investment. Investors are pretty tough because they don't want to lose money but not wise investing, but they love start-up ideas.

I am not familiar with 英国人's aggressiveness.
