Who beat Japanese during WW2 really doesnt matter......but very interesting , will this explain why Japanese has so called pathological fear of western people? Because their ass been kicked badly by western dude?
“Chinese armies did not play a critical role in forcing Japan to surrender” -- 这只是感情上的不服输而已。
不幸的是,岗村宁次已向中国递交了无条件投降书。

Guess no one will defend China anymore. Look at the three previous posts, why should people defend China? They got killed or maimed and then they got trashed by those minions.
Communist's role in Sino-Japanese War is simply negative. Even Chairman Mao thanked Japanse invasion. Hey, he is evil but frank.
People from mainland could not accept the fact because they got raised that way with no dissenting view at all. However, with just a little brain power, they will know there is something fishy about Communists' view of the War. At certain point, they denied any Nationalists' efforts. Anyone who even suggested that Nationalist did fight will be in jail. Then they gradually changed their talks.
The brainwash certainly works that nowadays most of the people in China still think Communists fought the most, at least publicly. They don't believe Communist is that bad to tell such a lie. Well, they are wrong.
My friend challenged the staffs in that memorial by Lu-Gao Bridge (Marco Polo Bridge) for this fact because he sees most of the pictures are from Communist not Nationalist. The staffs immediately become unfriendly and asked him who he is until they know he is an American citizen. They backed down. I told my friend he should be careful next time because they certainly can arrest him on the spot.
His crime will be:
Leak the State Secret.

既然是具体日期的历史重大事件--油画的夸张是不太合适的吧?

That's obvious...Nationalists were playing coward, Communists were playing hide and seek...and both of them try to claim the triumph...

not the Chinese army, it was the Red Guard that engaged in the battles against the Japanese as the guerrilla force during WWII.
