金世遗〔林峰〕遵从师父的遗言，往中原找邙山派的吕四娘〔白茵〕化解体内的魔功。从踏入中土的一刻起，耿直的遗便注定要卷入无日无之的江湖斗争中，他更遇 上了生命中最爱的两个女人。
遗在往邙山途上分别结识了冷艳的厉胜男〔叶璇〕和四娘的弟子谷之华〔李彩桦〕。遗找到了四娘，然而体内魔功不但不能解除，反成为邙山派的追杀对象。华决定 与遗一起闯荡江湖。遗其后再遇男，男以武林秘籍诱遗一同出海，遗为化解体内魔功而答应。遗夹在两女中间左右为难，华最后更给男气走了。遗为找秘籍，不得不 跟着男。遗与男在岛上朝夕相对，情愫渐生。
然而，男知道遗始终忘不了华，于是决定回中原找华，要遗作一抉择。回到中原后，遗得悉男的真正身份，大怒，带着华愤而离去。其后，男设计毒害华，遗为了救 华，无奈答应娶男为妻。遗与男成亲之夜，男竟毒发身亡。男临终前向遗吐露真情，至此，遗方知心中最爱原来是……
