上周女儿问我，妈妈知道下周是什么日子吗？我说母亲节啊，商场等着赚我们的钱，大牌子几周前就 竖好了，让人想忘都忘不了。
今天中午做好了饭，叫女儿下来吃饭，左等不来右等不来。过了一会儿，女儿下来了，拿了一包东西和一个卡片。不用说，这肯定是给我的母亲节礼物。谢谢女儿后，先读卡片，卡片是女儿自己制作的，看来花了不少心思，
Dear Mom,
Happy mother’s day! I’d just like to thank you for all the wonderful things you’ve done for me ever since I was born. You’ve pushed me to become the great person I am today. Today’s a day to celebrate your all wonderfulness and greatness. I don’t think I’d ever be able to list all of the things I’m thankful for because it would take me a WHILE.
I love you so so much. Yeah, sometimes we get on each other’s nerves, but that only makes our relationship stronger. Every argument also makes me stronger. Without you, I would not be striving for the best I can get.
Mom, it’s not possible to say my thanks in a couple of sentences. However, I hope this card makes it more obvious. Happy mother’s day and enjoy your present. You deserve it!

然后开开心心地打开礼物，没想到是一条“Seven”的牛仔裤，女儿说，妈妈，这可是名牌噢，我在TJMAX找了好久才找到的。我这才想到昨天女儿跳完舞说要到TJMAX买点东西，回来后神神秘秘的上楼，原来是为我选礼物。赶紧试穿，还挺合身。
晚上我们一起出外就餐。女儿早就说了母亲节要请我出去吃饭。我们一起去了我们最喜欢的越南饭店吃饭。吃完后女儿用自己的卡买的单。
礼物和晚餐都不算很贵，但对女儿来说是一大笔钱。而且小小年纪，知道给我买礼物还确切知道我的号码，请我出去吃饭还知道自己买单，这么有心的小棉袄令我很是自豪和满足。
