Sir Alexander Campbell Mackenzie - Benedictus Op. 37 No.3

As beautiful as Scotland itself, this classical music work was arranged for small orchestra by Scottish composer Alexander Mackenzie (1847-1935) in 1888. It was originally written for violin and piano. The work's soaring and expansive melody is wonderfully cantabile (songlike, or "singable"). The BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra is conducted by Martyn Brabbins.
