一般西方人感冒都会喝‘chicken noodle soup',但 chicken noodle 不是最有权威的治感冒鸡汤。最有权威的是犹太鸡汤。你用 Jewish panicillin 狗,就能找到一堆资料,比如在 MedicineNet.com上的所谓‘科学依据’,如下:

A study published in the journal Chest demonstrated that chicken soup may contain substances with beneficial activity including an anti-inflammatory effect that could ease the symptoms of colds and other upper respiratory infections. Chicken soup was found to inhibit neutrophil migration providing a basis for an anti-inflammatory activity. "Undoubtedly, the in vivo effects of chicken soup include more than the effects on neutrophils," the researchers wrote. It should be added that to benefit from Jewish penicillin, one need not be Jewish.

1。大锅(很大的锅),大半锅水,开高火
2。往水里加:
a。鸡,全鸡或鸡块问题不大,但一定要去油,把看得见的脂肪都剪了。
b。西芹两根,切段
c。洋葱一个,去皮,一切四
d。胡萝卜一根,切段
e。(optional) turnip一个,去皮,一切四
f。Dill … 这个最关键,没这个不成。新鲜的大把,切一下,1/4-1/2杯的样子。
g。(optional) Parsley … 新鲜的大把,切一下,1/4-1/2杯的样子。
3。烧开以后,转小火,5分钟之后就不滚沸了。保持在这样将沸不沸的状态4小时,汤就成了。
