10月9日和10日两天，美国时代周刊进行了一次民意调查。调查结果显示，“华尔街占领”运动比奥巴马更有人气。

其中，“华尔街占领”运动的支持率高达54%；而奥巴马的支持率只有可怜巴巴的44%。

另外，有多达81%的接受调查的美国人表示：“美国正走在一条严重错误的道路上。”
