红花蜜汁梨 Poached pears in saffron syrup

秋天来了,咳嗽的人也多起来。这款水果甜点非常适合润肺。红花有祛痰,镇静,去经闭,血滞的作用,也可解郁安神。(不过孕妇要禁忌)。蜂蜜也有消炎、祛痰、润肺、止咳的功效。柠檬皮也是行气,祛痰,健胃。梨子是当季节的水果,也是白色,入肺。不过因为梨子是凉性的,肠胃功能不好或者体性偏凉的人就不要生吃。蒸煮过后的梨子性就比较平和。

1根香草 1 vanilla bean, split lengthwise
½小勺红花 ½ teaspoon saffron threads
2大勺蜂蜜 2 tablespoons wild flower honey
1个柠檬的皮屑 1 lemon zest
4个梨子 4 pears, peeled, cut half



Put the pears,vanilla bean, saffron, honey, lemon zest and 2cups of water in a pan.Cover the pan, bring to boil in high heat, then turn to medium cook for about 8-10 minutes then turn the pears to another side until cooked. Remove the pears from the syrup.
Cook the saffron syrup until thickened. Serve the pears with syrup.
