It is merely a topic like weather
to upset for or cheer about
gets us no more than a vote
Let alone those who do not even
have a right to the piece

No one wants to be a piece of it
except politians, generals or whoever
wants to make money out it
In the cost of our children's lives
along with millions of warzone lives
it always carries a bloody banner
of patriotism, religions or extremism
