Maroon Bells is about 20 minutes drive from Aspen; in summer, the road is closed to vehicles so we bought the bus ticket, lined up and rode it up to the top. Along the road, there were a lot of bikers cruising up and down, our bus has to stop for the bikers to go by frequently, I guess that is a normal scene throughout the US, the bikers think they have the right of the road. :)
