我最初接触到他的书就是《当和尚遇到钻石》(The Diamond Cutter: The Buddha on Managing Your Business and Your Life),讲他自己怎样从一个僧人摇身变成了钻石商人。
In a 1996 Asiaweek cover story the Dalai Lama commented; "- a monk with a wife. This is wrong. A monk is celibate. Those who dress like a monk, with a wife, they are not monks. Of course, it's the individual's right. You can always give up a monk's vows, and then change your dress.
mmmm.. Too much effort to recall your partner's merits every morning. But if the two can exchange birthday card, holiday card occassionally and write some warm words that really helps. If one takes the first step to care and treat the other person well the relationship will change for good.
...could be of some reference, despite the complicity of life - Michael Roach divorced his soul-mate wife who went on married another man, the man died in some sort of extreme meditation. or maybe its karma...
