包子!包子! and cupcakes

carrot and pork filling:

1. make the dough, i used milk because it already has some sugar to help the yeast, before rising:



2. after rising:



3. cook the carrot in some oil



4. mix the filling, I used pork, green onion, ginger, soy sauce, oyster sauce and the cooked carrot.




5. make the baozi, wait for second rise



6. steam for 15 minutes, turn off the heat, wait another 5 min and ready to eat!

thank you all! for Baozi the key is the dough. have to make sure it is rising enough before making the BAOZI and wait for a second rise. Also make sure you turn off the heat and let it stay in the POT for 5 min before opening the lid.
For cupcakes i just bought the store bought icing, with colors already mixed in. a real time saver!
