One day, Ms. Diver went to see a doctor and I accompanied her to show support.
After showing us to an exam room, the nurse said to her, "Please change to the gown and the doctor will come to see you shortly."
To be sure, I said to the nurse, "I'm her husband. It's okay for me to stay here. Right?"
"As long as she says so." the nurse replied, "She is the boss!"
"No problem. I'm used to that by now." I said.
"I guess you knew it - Happy wife, happy life!" The nurse said cheerfully while leaving the room.
