It is possible
for a soul to swim like a fish
in the sea of blue
free from the toxic pollutants

It is possible
for a soul to fly like a bird
in the sky of blue
free from the smothering dust

It only comes to land
when working, eating, talking or doing other chores
like a body would do
even then
the soul could still swim in the soup
could still fly in the conversations
