粘叶豆树(Schizolobium parahyba)，为蝶形花科粘叶豆属植物。原产于巴西。它生长迅速，树干笔直，可达40m的高度，其生长高度远远超过一般树木，故常被称作植物园中的摩天塔。幼树树干几乎不分叉，它在靠近树顶分枝，长着一米甚至两米长的二回羽状复叶，如同蕨类或者棕榈类植物。因其叶柄能分泌粘液(树脂)而得名粘叶豆树。花后结有长约10厘米的豆荚，内有一粒种子。 它在夏季开出黄色花朵，壮观漂亮，是极佳的观赏树木。非常适合大的，开阔庭院栽种。
