Before you get up, you should do about 5 minutes exercise first. So it can be called as Bed Exercise.
Why should do it in bed? Since your heart is weak, your circulation is poor, and your blood pressure is relatively high( especially could be 20-30 points higher for elderly) in the morning. If you get up in all the sudden, could cause heart attack and stroke.
How to do it?
That 's easy. You just face up, have your body to be flat. Then have your hands stretching forward crossing with fists, then to have your palms to be opened up, pulling to each side completely for 100 times. To make a fist, then have the palm to be opened up, can stimulate the solar plexus, kidney, adrenal. Meanwhile, have your legs to be straight, have your feet kicking forward for 100 times. Of course the stronger is the better.
Step 2 is sit on the side of the bed, have your hands to be connected together to hold your rear head, meanwhile have your knees and feet to be closed each other tightly. Then have your feet be kicked and your body be rocked powerfully for 100 times again.
The last step is put your hands on your lap, move your head from left to right side slowly, have the ROM to be as big as possible for 20 times( each side 10). After this, all the meridians have been opened up and you are warm enough, even sweating. Your heart is strong and is in good work order. Your blood pressure is good and stable. You won't feel dizzy and nausea. Your knees won 't be stiff. You are ready to get up. You already have a good starter for all the tasks and you going to have a nice day!
